About Cortina

We’re a creative studio working at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and cultural heritage.

Our mission? To bring museums to life through cutting-edge media experiences. From touchscreen interactives that make learning feel like magic, to AR that transport visitors through time and space—we craft digital stories that wow, educate, and inspire.

Who are we looking for?

You’re a UI designer with an eye for elegance, a love of clean visual storytelling, and a passion for designing experiences in the real world. You get excited about working with museums, historical sites, and cultural institutions to turn complex ideas into intuitive, beautiful interfaces.

If blending tech with tangible culture sounds like your dream gig—you just found your people.

  • Create user flows and wireframes that convey functionality.
  • Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of developers, animators, producers, and clients.
  • Help ensure our work doesn’t just look good—but feels intuitive, educational and inspiring.

What should be in your bag of tricks?

  • Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
  • Figma, with the ability to build interactive prototypes.
  • Bonus points for motion tools like After Effects or 3d tools like Cinema 4d.
  • A passion for pixel-perfect design and smart interactivity.

What do we offer?

  • Competitive salary: $64,000 – $85,000/year
  • Mostly remote, with regular in-office sessions for collaboration, testing, and the occasional chili cook-off
  • Generous health and dental program
  • Company sponsored 401k
  • Paid vacation, sick, holidays and floating holidays
  • Maternal/paternal leave
