Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, GA opened its long-anticipated gallery, SHARKS! Predators of the Deep. One of the largest shark exhibits in the world, the new gallery features state-of-the-art live and digital exhibits that allow visitors to get up close and personal with a variety of sharks and rays. Cortina Productions created seven digital interactives and four video-based experiences, including a large multi-screen responsive LED wall. The wall includes an underwater scene with a large school of bait fish that respond dynamically to the visitor’s presence and movement through the use of tracking cameras. Throughout the exhibit, interactive displays allow visitors to explore and discover a range of shark-related content such as species information, and current research and conservation efforts.
