National Museum of African American History and Culture – Forces for Change

The Forces for Change: Mary McLeod Bethune & Black Women’s Activism gallery at the National Museum of African American History and Culture was reimagined to highlight the life and legacy of Mary McLeod Bethune and Black women agents of social change. Combining historic images and artifacts with a new digital media experience, the gallery highlights both past and present Black women champions of social justice. Cortina Productions helped bring new life and purpose to the powerful exhibit content. In a dynamic and unified media experience, the new “Forces for Change” film shines a light on women at the forefront of the trailblazing efforts for social change while the connected “Paths to Activism” interactive introduce visitors to activists and encourage visitors to become activists themselves.
